GS-Smart Care Hose Management

GS-Smart Care hose management is a cost efficient tool to track, identify, aggregate, monitor and store information of hoses as well as manage the service program of flexible hoses on offshore vessels of our Norwegian based customers. With GS-Smart Care the customer can organize hose-related service tasks and minimize the risk of interruptions caused by technical failures of flexible hoses.

GS-Smart Care hose management is run on internet-based software that utilizes RFID technology.

Each hose assembly is individually entered into the system.  Hoses can be grouped by vessel and critical status as well as by parameters scheduled into the maintenance program. Initial Survey Service

GS-Hydro offers initial survey service of flexible hoses in vessels.  Information of hoses is collected on-site by hose specialists. In the survey GS-Hydro collects technical information and current condition of each hose. When survey is completed customer will have up-to-date information on all hoses as well as proposals for maintenance and good practices.

Replacement Hose Assemblies

GS-Smart Care offers high quality products that are approved by international classification societies and fabricated only by trained and approved personnel. Hose assemblies are tested and cleaned according to customer request.

Replacement hoses can be delivered to customer site or picked up from a GS-Hydro location prior to next service date or by customer order. Emergency hoses are available 24 hours when agreed.

GS-Smart Care can be expanded to include material delivery of hoses, couplings, rigid pipes and connections.
